I cannot wait to see what happens to California when all the whites leave.

The plan also calls on the city to supplement lower-income recipients’ income to reflect the Area Median Income (AMI), about $97,000, annually for at least 250 years.

Social justice in the USA is based on the religious model.
Its a more soulless version of morality. A legalistic version of religion.

Imagine doing this in Louisiana or MS.
Housing, car and liquor store sales would skyrocket.
But pretty much all fast food, retail stores, etc would lose their labor force overnight
This is GOLD, Delta GOLD!!

And you thought renting a Ryder truck heading out of California was hard before.

The art of negotiation: Ask for really outrageous things to get public attention, then settle for less.

How can they be "at least 18 years old" and "having been born between 1940-1996?" That would put you at 27-83 y/o at the end of this calendar year. LOL

Document alteration will be a big money thing in SF over the next few years.
Set up shop, profit.

And that's joke. It's just another look at us, we're the good white people. They can support this knowing damn well that it means nothing, but it plays well for the sheep.

"What about the Chinese railroad workers or Japanese Americans held in internment camps from the early 1900s? They were fricked by "systematic repression" but you never hear about them."
....actually any Japanese or Japanese held in internment camps were paid reparations. That's the scary thing about this, from a legal standpoint. There's already a federal precedent for this. The Civil Liberties Act of 1988, signed by Reagan paid reparations not only to living survivors, but to the descendants of anyone held in those camps.

released its draft report last month to address reparations – not for slavery, since California was not technically a slave state, but "to address the public policies explicitly created to subjugate Black people in San Francisco by upholding and expanding the intent and legacy of chattel slavery."
A key goal post move as it means you aren’t absolving yourself of something in the past and moving on.
You can keep pulling from that piggy bank forever!

.... this is only for California, but when the federal reparations fight comes, you must understand the argument: it's not about who was here in the US, or who was alive or who owned slaves. It is about what the federal government allowed during slavery, thus making the US government liable. Don't shoot the messenger here, but that is the argument that's coming.
