This is what happens when real estate skyrockets. It’s erasing the middle class. More people who lived off of low income jobs can’t do that. They are forced to the streets. Depression, drug use, and shitting in streets rises.

I went to SF twice around 2008-2009. Had a great time and it seemed fairly nice, some hobos, but not to much trouble.

I've been to both a number of times. Chicago is fine if you stay out of dangerous areas. SF is beautiful but don't leave any belongings in plain site in your vehicle. They have a massive homeless problem and are too SJW to do anything about it.
