This just sums up how America is so fuked going forward. Other countries like China, India, Russia , Middle East give no fuks about diversity or pronouns. They are making better products more efficiently and with the most qualified people. I have no problem with Women and Miniorities don't care if you are gay or straight or what religion you are.
We are falling behind because we are caring about pronouns/DEI/ sexual orientation at the work place and hiring based on quotas. Hell our schools can't even teach basic biology about male and female instead we teach sexual orientation and CRI. I
Well you certainly fell for the bait

DEI is pushed almost exclusively by "educated" women. Stop hiring women, stop voting then into office, stop giving them a say in the policy making process of business, education and government and you'd be surprised how quickly things will turn around.

Haye to break it to you bro, but our continued edge in technology is due almost exclusively to men, and mostly white men at that. It's not really debatable.

The Ohio plant is under construction with approximately 800-900 people on site. Ground was broken in Sept 2022. However, it was announced Feb 1, that manufacturing has been delayed from 2025 to 2026. Hundreds of millions of dollars of incentives at stake for Intel.
Intel needs to have 3,000 employees by 2028 or $600 million in grants will be at risk.

Despite the billions in subsidies, two experts believe the tech companies' decision to back out of building manufacturing facilities in the U.S. stems from the diversity, equity and inclusion policy.
In an opinion piece for The Hill, CEO of Strive Asset Management Matt Cole and head of research at the company, Chris Nicholson, say the subsidies are so 'loaded with DEI that it can't move.'
An assumption presented as fact

I could have incuded Japan or some of the Norwegian countries where most of the population are of the same ethnicity but I don't feel like arguing with you for 10 pages. Ain't nobody got time for that except you or Lester Earl.

Samsung’s Taylor plant is opening during the summer. They’ve had construction delays

“Patriots” going out of their way to wishcast the downfall of the United States will never stop being amazingly ironic me. And citing as fact a Twitter post citing to an opinion piece is a special level of wishcasting.

It literally does not matter who you pick. The US laps any country in "pushing the limits of technology".
Tech isn't even measured in terms of countries. We have a handful of cities that lap conglomerations of regional nation-based associations

It's certainly not in identifying the difference between an opinion and a fact.

I know it's not semiconductors, but Samsung is currently building a 1700 employee EV battery plant outside of South Bend, IN.

Neither Samsung nor Intel has canceled plans for build their semiconductor plants here in the US. They've only pushed production back to 2025. Intel is still working on that site in Columbus, OH, and they're deep into their new facility in Arizona, as is TSMC. I know people in Columbus right now working on that site.
Y'all are some gullible fools.
Silicon Angle article showing just how gullible you are.
OH NO, A SIX MONTH DELAY!! WHATEVER SHALL WE DO?
That Samsung site is a kilometer long. You really think they would just walk away from that kind of investment?
