Intel delaying, not cancelling.

Big fricking difference.

Yahoo news link to the story about Intel

quote:

“Managing large-scale projects often involves adapting to changing timelines, a common occurrence in the industry. Our decision-making is anchored in market dynamics and responsible capital management,” said an Intel spokesperson.

They already have semiconductor plants in US

Intel:
Arizona
Oregon
Ohio

Samsung:
Austin, Texas

None of these have been built yet.

LMAO, one bullshite comment after the next.

Samsung's Austin fab has been making chips for 28 years, since 1996.

Intel has been making chips in Oregon since 1974. And they're in the process of doing a massive expansion there now. And they've been in Arizona since 1980, and are also pumping billions into new facilities there right now.

So much for 'None of these have been built yet'.

Poliboard idiots like the OP outraged over an opinion piece that gives false facts.

Intel and Samsung still building these plants, construction is just delayed. Like every building these days, what is ever built on time.

I don't know much about DEI, but I know that a friend of mine has a nephew who worked at a social media company. I'll just say its one people use to link with other people in their industry.

The company was re-evaluating every employee. He quit and found a job somewhere else because evidently if you were a white male you were fricked. The quality of one's work meant absolutely nothing and it just so happens that everyone that were given horrible reviews were white males. This is what I was told, I don't know 100% if its true, but his nephew did leave, what was once a really good job because all signs were pointing to it was only a matter of time before he would be replaced.
