Daily Mail article
I guess, being equitable is much more important than not relying on your enemies to produce the very core of your existence.

Who wants to recall millions of chips because they were made incorrectly by employees who weren't paying attention?

At this point I’m looking forward to the Chinese century. All the globohomo stooges will get quietly sent to camps, and the world can finally heal.
Ever notice how their cities look so much more high tech than ours? Really makes you think!

You sound like you need a little stay at a re-education camp, my friend. You're bordering on being a thought criminal.

why have the best qualified people when you can share the colors of the rainbow with people of different genders/pronouns/etc. that are not as qualified? It's just better that way-signed Liberal Loonies

Sorry I'm not as perfect as you.
Maybe one day.
Until then I'll just remain human and fixx the occasional error as soon as possible.

Their source is an opinion piece from someone you’ve never heard of so there’s that

None of these have been built yet.

Ah yes, you link an X post
Also, this Daily Mail thing is based on an opinion piece that doesn't show its work. They just assume it's from DDEI.
Original article
The luminaries also add this brilliance:
quote:
This is the stuff declining empires are made of. As America pursues national security by building a diverse workforce, China does it by building warships.
The biggest issues I've read about these plants are worker-based. Our workers aren't up to the task.

Samsung Austin has been there for decades. They’ve expanded it recently
Intel has been in Arizona & Oregon for a long time too.
Samsung was building a new facility in Taylor, TX & Intel was building in Ohio.

This doesn't even make sense
This is a Leftist program to the core. Leftist policies can also "create jobs"

And it killed jobs
We don't know that. The opinion piece from the Hill makes this claim without any evidence to support it.

An opinion piece in The Hill points the finger at the diversity, equity and inclusion necessary in government subsidies as the main reason for the exodus
The Biden administration promised earlier this year that they would be handing out $39 billion in grants to encourage semiconductor manufacturing in the U.S.
Shortly after the announcement however, Intel announced they would be holding off on their Columbus factory, while Samsung also delayed their facility in Texas.
Despite the billions in subsidies, two experts believe the tech companies' decision to back out of building manufacturing facilities in the U.S. stems from the diversity, equity and inclusion policy.
In an opinion piece for The Hill, CEO of Strive Asset Management Matt Cole and head of research at the company, Chris Nicholson, say the subsidies are so 'loaded with DEI that it can't move.'

This just sums up how America is so fuked going forward. Other countries like China, India, Russia , Middle East give no fuks about diversity or pronouns. They are making better products more efficiently and with the most qualified people. I have no problem with Women and Miniorities don't care if you are gay or straight or what religion you are.
We are falling behind because we are caring about pronouns/DEI/ sexual orientation at the work place and hiring based on quotas. Hell our schools can't even teach basic biology about male and female instead we teach sexual orientation and CRI. Instead of advancing or pushing limits of technology instead lets make sure we don't misgender someone at the workplace. Btw some of my best bosses in the engineering have been females so I have no problem with diversity we just need to get rid of all this wokeness bullshite and move forward as a nation. Can I say one more thing FJB.
