Sounds made up.

And after watching a documentary on the eastern front, there couldn’t be too nicer groups of soldiers killing each other. I do feel bad for the peasants.

Its unfortunate a lot of the regular German soldiers that really had nothing to do with Hitler's plan are dragged under the Nazi label.

A lot of personal journals and letters from German soldiers showed that a great many of them thought the whole thing was wrong, but they had to do what their country told them.

If only the Nazis could’ve killed more communists.

Win/win for everybody involved.

We should’ve done what Truman wanted to do, fund each side in order for them to kill each other in perpetuity.

It is not a secret that the USSR played a much, much larger and critical role on the battlefield against the Nazi's than the Allies did. Not really a contentious point.

However I wouldn't say that we completely piggy backed off them. The Soviets would not have been able to stay in the war early, once Barbarossa started, without American material and supplies. And they likely would have needed much more time to finish off Hitler had the Allies never opened up a second (and third and fourth) front in Europe.

At the end of the day, both the Allies (UK, US, France, et al) and the Soviets would have eventually won World War 2, with or without the other. The Axis never had a plausible and sustainable path to victory.

You're clearly just trying to rile up a few people with your anti-American shtick. What a loser you are.

Dan Carlin has a good podcast series on the Eastern Front, for anyone who likes his other stuff. "Ghosts of the Ostfront", IIRC it is three or four 90 minute episodes, decent for the commute to/from work.
