If you ever hear an American say he or his father or grandfather liberated a death camp, they are lying. Americans only liberated work/labor camps. Russians did all the liberating of the death camps.
Well that’s because the Nazis built all their death camps in the East, mostly in Poland.

its estimated that 24 million Russian civilian and military personnel died. Crazy number considering the USA lost 420,000.

War was won with russian blood and american steel.

Or someone who has been educated as to the fabric industry?
How the frick is it so difficult to spell simple fricking words with spellcheck on everything?

That’s why we let the Russians take Berlin

Well not "freely given" part of the terms for joining in was "frick your preferential trade with the Commonwealth. That ends and you give us your military research." And that's how we got everything from better sights to the nuke while insuring the sun finally set on the United Kingdom.
Seriously if the Germans had sunk one ship, carrying the trunk it would've set a different course for our participation.

Not 100% sure but I believe you're conflating the Tizard Mission with some pre war aid deals.

Human wave attacks and civilian deprivation is a bitch.
Posted on 2/19/19 at 2:53 pm to upgrayedd
The overarching effects yeah.
The Tizard mission was basically waving the white flag on keeping Anglo military secrets from us Americans.

It's likely that the Russian civilian death toll alone was greater than the total military death toll of all countries not named "Russia" in WW2.
Stalin did not give a frick about Russians.
The forgotten in WW2, though, are the Chinese. They lost something like 20 million people.

Only Hollywood likes to make it USA all the way.
USA was spared (less Hawaii and Aleutians) from attacks on its soil, and damage to its infrastructure. We also had the benefit of most of the resources needed for war were domestically produced.
war bombed europe ad asia. this is the reason for the US boom from post war through the 50s. there were rebuilding and we were selling what they needed to rebuild

this might be one of the weakest and poorly thought out attempts of an OT troll I’ve ever seen.
If you would have done any homework, you would know the OT loves it some Hardcore History. Hell, every time an episode drops from Dan, there are multiple threads. With that being said: no one here claims the greatness, that is/was the United States of America, during WWII, won the war singlehandedly. No one, said that, ever here. Not once.

It took 3 Russians to kill one nazi. It took one American or Brit to kill one Nazi. 90% of all Japanese soldiers were killed by an American.

I’d say they did their part.
Although i’d Take a Red Army commie over a modern American progressive any day.
At least they were real men. Fighting for their country. There’s honor in that

Without millions of tons of American and British help they would have accomplished nothing.

Well they killed 99.99% of those killed in WWII and the USSR admits to a loss of 27 million people and this doesn't include Communist found in other occupied countries.

The Krauts killed roughly twice as many Russian military personnel as they lost to the Red Army.

See that's the great thing about communism, the equality for the citizens...instead of just a select few... EVERYBODY gets to die
Posted on 2/19/19 at 4:30 pm to Ghazi
How many Russians did the Nazis kill because of flawed strategy by your beloved communists that simply tried to overwhelm the Germans with numbers?
No way WWII would have ended as quickly without our country’s involvement (not your country apparently). We didn’t lose nearly as many men because we were unwilling to sacrifice them due to our value of life of our soldiers.
