This is the equivalent of gravel trucks having that “not responsible for items falling from truck” sign on them to deter people from calling them out when rocks damaged their vehicles.
No. It’s not.
This information is published prior to your purchase and you can elect to take your business elsewhere.
You can’t do that when you are randomly driving down the road.
Your example is bad and you will realize your mistake when you sober up.

Rouses has whole beef tenderloin for $8.99 this week. Clutch.

Why would Rouses be responsible for refunding you money when they did exactly what you asked them to do?

So, I ordered a king cake from rouses to be delivered earlier this week on Monday.
Yeah , no one is going to take you serious.

Uh no...
You're telling me that for any product you ordered that was shipped via UPS/usps/fedex and wasn't delivered, you didn't approach the company but talked to the ups/fedex instead? Gtfo.
Or if you had a customer and you shipped them a product that wasn't delivered and they called you, you'd tell them to frick off, it's not your problem?
We do over a million in wholesale shipping each year.
It's on FedEx, not the company you bought shite from.
We would have had to eat 30k just for Christmas week if shite wasn't delivered just on Christmas week because of UPS and Fedex.
Yeah, no thank you.

You didn't miss anything. Their king cakes are crap anyway.

Yeah I guess one who wants to retain future customers and one who doesn't?
You’re the type of customer I would gladly watch leave. You simply aren’t worth the effort to retain as you are unreasonable. And in the grand scheme, you simply don’t spend enough to matter. If you were that important of a customer and spent enough money to make a significant difference you would have (A) already leveraged your buying power to resolve this and (B) handled this one, single king cake shipment far more adroitly.
You’re a “C” client tying to get the treatment of an “A” customer. It doesn’t work like that. Good luck at Albertsons or wherever. I suspect you’ll be back when you get in a snit with your next grocer.

They can dispute with FedEx for mitigation, but the onus isn't on the customer to ensure that their product is actually delivered to the customer.

I'd venture to say this really rustled your Georgia Peach Jimmies. Hope you get your money back and leave our Insurrectionist Grocery Store alone.

He paid Rouses to have what Rouses claims is a King Cake delivered to his front door, and they have not delivered. Sounds like they tried, but they failed.

Rouses bent the knee after having a valid reason for being in DC in January. Frick them and their king cake, which is crap anyway.
Exactly. Have not set foot in my local one since. Won't ever again.
Cuck.

Grocery stores in Atlanta don't sell kings cakes?
If your'e just getting a grocery store cake, I don't see why you'd order unless you just want that authentic "Nawlins" shipping label on the box.

$50 to ship a rouses KC, lol
I shipped a Tartine KC for only $35 a few weeks back.

Allow me to pile on and ask why you got a Rouses king cake?
This sucks, but I don't see where this is Rouses fault. Act of God, etc. This is the risk you take when you ship perishable items.

Rouses is only shipping gay wedding king cakes now.

Some of the Publix here in Charleston had them on a display by the entrance a couple of days ago. What's the big deal with these cakes anyways other than the Mardi Gras sprinkles on them?

All hail to the mighty. Seriously, you are bitching about a non-delivered, sub-standard kingcake in the middle of an ice storm. You must have a LOT of time on your hands.

It's not even an issue with the shipper since this is clearly weather related.

lol...bruh, that's not on them.
