Problem is they spoof numbers of folks you actually know. Grandma shows up on the ID but it is a spoofer when you pick it up.

Get the Hiya app, you can now block spam and telemarketers instead of just getting a warning. You can block spoof calls but I have it to get a warning, you can add your contacts to a white list where they don’t get blocked also

These guys offer a service where you can waste the scammer's time. You have to pay for it though, which I'm not willing to do. The recordings of their bots keeping the scammers on the line are pretty funny though. LINK LINK

fricking this. And I don't wanna report the number bc odds are it's another victim who has had his/her number cloned by a scammer.
That and "John" or "Joe" bots who call for the Police Action Fund. I work all over the State, and don't you know they always manage to call from the area code I'm working in, whether it be 504, 985, 225, or 337.

Shits gotten way out of hand. Just today alone the phone has rung here at the office 6 times. 3 were bullshite robo calls..
