Crap. Winn Dixie at least has some deals. And their brand of queso is amazing. It was the most reasonable store for those who refuse to Walmart.

The Aldi I went to in McComb was kind of cheap and trashy. Like Dollar General trashy.

Aldi is what you’d get if you ordered a Publix from Wish.

Well I'm guessing that means the Winn Dixie in Central on Hooper Rd is history as ALDI just finished a brand new location on Sullivan Rd in Shoe Creek!

We have these really nice Winn Dixie’s they redid a couple years ago. The even have a wine bar/cheese thing with flat screens. You can grab and go while shopping or sit down

The renovated Winn-Dixie’s in the nicer areas are low key awesome. Huge wine and beer selection.

I have a WD less than a mile from my house and it is newly renovated and I love it. Hope it doesn't change to an Aldis.

What? Some of you guys need to get out more. Walmart is the cheapest generally sure, but comparing Winn Dixie to Whole Foods prices is absurd.

The WD near my home disagrees with your statement.

The Destin Winn Dixie is the best Winn Dixie. I hope they keep that one.

I have no problem with Aldi, well run business. Also, if OP had bothered to do a little more reading, you would know that Aldi is not converting ALL of the acquired stores.

Aldi is way better anyways.

Unless you're looking for the 75% of typical grocery items they don't carry.

You think a possible 25 cent fee stops people from being trashy?

It just stops me from shopping there because the odds that I happen to have a quarter on me is low ...it's the closest store to me... Then WD then Publix.

The one off 30a in Destin has one of these. It's nice inside; would hate to see it converted to an Aldi.

It's on 98 not 30A but yes, it is one of the nicer Dixes. I doubt they rebrand any of the larger top performing dixies.
