Little Bill Dagget will never finish that house now.

He married that wife when he was 61 and she was 29. He has 3 kids, 2 of them older than his wife. He left $80 million.

Double suicide or murder/suicide I wonder.

I would guess carbon monoxide would be higher on the list of possible causes than murder/suicide or home invasion/murder.

Very sad indeed.

I’m just a normal guy, not a Hollywood actor, and I have carbon monoxide detectors all in my house. Something’s fishy.

Jennifer Love Hewitt was hot AF in that movie, and Gene Hackman played that old Smokey drunk to perfection

Could it be something like carbon monoxide poisoning?

this is what i'm betting on, especially since the dog died too and there's no foul play involved...

it's not unheard of for husbands and wives to die on the same day, with no foul play/accident involved, but the dog dying as well, yeah some other factor was at play

Interesting story. Years ago when Betsy was at USC, she walked up to Jack Del Rio and asked him to her winter formal. Jack declined. Years later they were filming the replacements in Baltimore and Jack was the linebacker coach at the Ravens. While filming, the same Betsy walked up to Jack, asked him if he remembered her from USC and told him how she asked him to her Winter Formal. Jack said no, he didn't remember. Then Betsy introduced Jack to her husband, Gene Hackman. Since then they became really good friends and spent Thanksgivings together.

I know... csb.
