I saw him at NLU back in the late 80's. He had some truly funny stuff beyond the sledge-o-mattic. Very good cadence to story telling.

My favorite joke from him was about potty training. Paraphrasing, "I can see why kids have a hard time with it. All their life it's 'stay off the furniture, stay off the furniture', now all of the sudden there's this chair they can shite in."

I remember watching him before I was in high school on HBO. When he first came out. shite was funny as hell

A good place to start is him explaining how the English language works and why it’s so complicated for international’s to learn.

His on stage antics really overshadowed how smart the guy was. Saw him once at the LC civic center ages ago.
