Guess who is currently paying their Social Security benefits that the government squandered on entitlements and special interests? (big hint - YOU ARE)

Baby boomers are such losers

Don't feel too bad, TD boomers. You're only a little bit worse than everyone else.

I am retired and need, nor will ever need anything from anyone. That and just after my retirement my home was flooded in August 2016. Without any help whatsoever, it is now better than it ever was.i invested wisely, and have a very generous pension, plus you youngsters are paying my social security which we use as our monthly entertainment fund. Thanks.

Once the federal government took over student loans in 2010 everything went to shite.

The lesson is to be wary of inflation.

Look at what a Boomer expected to be able to live off of in 1970 (about $8k/yr with no housing expense). Look at what that gets you today.

I'm not worried about debt solvency.
I'm not worried about sustaining social security.

Our country knows the cure for these ills. Inflate the shite out of the currency.
By everyone's retirement age, we will all realize how we were hustled by our politicians and government.
No government promise can't be kept with unfettered inflation. Lazy politicians get off the hook and old folks need their kids and grandkids to fix the messes. But the following generations won't be any different. This will continue and continue.
