No that's wrong, people don't just walk into unfinished houses without permission. What really happened is that this guy was going on the construction site for months, but not stealing, in an attempt to set up his big steal at some point in the future (in which he may steal the actual framework of the house, possibly). The only time he actually DID steal was the $2500 worth of fishing gear that the owner inexplicably left sitting around an unfinished house, but this was out of view of the camera. And now the owner is lying about it because he fears retaliation from SJW mobs. So he's willing to lie about it in court and possibly send two men to prison who he cares enough about to share surveillance video with (although he lied about this too, claiming he didn't share with anyone) to inform them about the thefts.

you combine that that possible malfeasance and debauchery by the officials?

The guys are murderers and the officials are assclowns and the victims was just a semi-pro jogger with a penchant for construction sites.

All I’m saying is I wish the media and its blind sheep herds would stop desperately and inaccurately extrapolating national issues from isolated incidents in random podunk shitholes

White boys carrying guns to detain jogger is a bad look.

Doesn't change the fact jogger would still be alive if he didn't preemptively attack the guy with the shotgun.

White dudes in Georgia run down and shoot a black man in the middle of the road, it's on video, they aren't arrested until months later when the video is leaked, one of them is a former cop who is friends with the DA, nothing was stolen from the property they claim to have been protecting, he had no weapon, and you don't get why this has become a big story?

Where did the info about the $2500 in stolen fishing gear originally come from? I only remember reading people post it, but I don't remember seeing it in an article, but I may have forgotten

The owner of the house claims that fishing gear was stolen in the months prior, but says he doesn't have it on video and can't confirm if the gear was taken from the house or sometime prior to the boat being transported to the construction site.

Probably so, it sure doesn't look good for them.

With that being said, until it all plays out in the GA legal system it is all speculation what the outcome will be.

You won't find it written in any of the articles because the liberal democrat MSM has gone back and scrubbed any evidence of Arbery stealing fishing gear from existence, including using one of those devices from Men In Black to erase the memories of anyone who claims to have seen it.

I also believe that Al Sharpton himself, upon hearing of this (justified) shooting, went to the homeowner and demanded he delete the video evidence of AA walking in the house, kneeling for the national anthem, then stealing the fishing gear while sagging his pants.

There have been numerous false “facts” about the story.
One, the house was not a new construction but a remodel..
Two, Arbery had boots on.
Three, the Michaels and English were in contact with each other.

The fishing gear thing may or may not be true.

All of this.

Arbery was CLEARLY targeted. I am assuming race was the key factor, but I am basing it on my own reasoning, lacking substantial evidence.

Anyone arguing for the good ole boys at this point, is doing it for the sake of being contrarian. Or perhaps it is Nancy Grace Syndrome? When you know you are wrong, but you took a firm position too early. . .and now you feel obligated to keep defending the obviously wrong position.

Arbery was murdered. Only question now, is premeditation. Full stop.

I mean, think about what it took to actually get these guys charged though

I don't agree with anything they did but I like you only saw a 10 sec clip. It's the courts job to hash out the evidence not the OT detectives.

Yeah this is straight up newsworthy compared to the story of Alton Sterling where he pulled a gun out and got shot by a cop. There's for sure some fatigue with these type of stories, but with all of the big ones recently this is definitely the one where there should be outrage.

I agree with this. It seems there have been too many "cry wolf" situations in the past. That's what happens when you try to make every instance a big issue.

Lying about it implies there is a very strong basis to rework the original story that he was jogging, and I'm not sure that's true.

There are two reasons I think it's quite questionable he was jogging:

1) The route from his home to that area is...not runner friendly. But I'll caveat by saying all of Brunswick is probably pretty unfriendly to pedestrians/joggers.

2) He appears to have been wearing fairly long khaki cargo shorts. Another caveat - black dudes in Brunswick may not work out in Lululemon.

But admittedly, there is some evidence that he does jog (witness account) and regardless, there certainly isn't enough to deem the headline "lying"
