Uh, he was called racist by the media and politicians for announcing a travel ban from the place that was ground 0 for this disease.
The left/media would've lost their freaking minds if Trump ordered self quarantine in Seattle, San Francisco, New York as an early preventive even as of last Tuesday.
Even so, the CDC has been in charge of this from the start, and they fricked it up. It's not like the CDC is full of Trump appointees.
