Agree. But people, including Trump, are going out of their way to call it 'Chinese virus'. It literally has an official name and several other widely acceptable names. It certainly doesn't offend me in any way. I just don't understand why someone wouldn't use a preferred name. It really seems childish otherwise. But then again, this is a 73-year-old man that thinks calling people by schoolyard names is somehow cute or clever.

Okay, here we go. Was any concern given to West Nile? Avian Flu? or any of the other diseases out there that I'm sure have "proper" names?
We all know that answer. It's like some of these journalist graduated from Romper Room, trying for a gotcha moment. Maybe, just maybe worry about something a little more important than what someone calls a disease.

Not a Trump fan per se, just 100% against Dems/ liberals. In that context, who is the last POTUS to stand up to China? In any form? That I do support him in doing. China is used to just walking over any & all in its way. And if you go back & listen to that entire speech, he specifically states that China is blaming our military. Where is the liberal hate against China for that pure fabrication? In that context, his comments were rather mild in comparison.

If I say it is a "gotcha moment" it would only be an assumption because there is no way to really prove that, but I would assume that goes on at every press conference any president gives.
Reports trying to make a name for themselves throw shite out there hoping they can get some type of unpredictable response..
