Yeah, if Chinese people were getting the shite beat out of them or otherwise abused over this, something tells me the media would not have delayed bringing that to our attention.

Why not just call it covid 19? People shouldnt be so sensitive, but some people are going out of their way to call it something else.

To be honest, I don't mind it being specifically identified as coming from China.
If nothing else, it may help prevent a second wave when all the quarantines are lifted and the hipsters and neckbeards think about taking the first flight to Wuhan just to prove that "we don't blame you for this" or some other bullshite.
