I posted the actual numbers for kids a couple of days ago.
Kids barely get sick from this nor do they die even except for a handful of Cases. Maybe two handfuls.

The Swiss came to the same conclusion, hence the reports that they plan on sending their children back to school.

i think this is fake news... my boss son had it (presumably, no test) right after quarantine started. his other kid got it (presumably, no test) 12 days after the first one fever broke. now the wife has a fever and a cough 9 days after the 2nd kid's fever broke.
where did she get it if they have all been quarantined, etc?

Most countries and states have zero deaths for people 18 and younger. The explanation is very low viral load. That would also explain why they are bad vectors and don’t transmit it the virus well.

The research coming from non-Chicom-owned WHO sources say they are poor vectors, not impossible ones.

So then elementary may have been ok, but middle and high school would've likely still needed to shut down between those who would've still been vectors as children and the adults working in their buildings.
FWIW, I think there's also something to be said about the child to teacher ratio in other countries compared to here that would've made it difficult to come back with social distancing. I know teacher contracts here allow up to a 31 to 1 ratio and that's not uncommon once you get out of elementary. I'm pretty sure I read the other day Sweden is 12-ish to 1?
