Some years ago LSUA started giving athletic schoarships to foreign students.
Also at that time The Town Talk was a real newspaper.A reporter interviewed a few of the foreign students.One was this Spanish kid,he was asked his impression of the U.S.,things that surprised him about living here,etc.
He said he was surprised at questions other students asked him about Spain.
He had been asked if Spain was a country or a city,Also where in Mexico was Spain located.
How in hell does a person graduate high school and never learn that Spain was a country.?
