I have a friend who’s brother is a cop. He quit two weeks ago and got a job on a construction site making more money without the bullshite law enforcement has to deal with. He pouring concrete from 7-4 five days a week right now. Off weekends and nights and gets paid base + $$ per square yard.

Yeah, Atlanta real estate is about to go down the toilet. Same with Minneapolis, Seattle, LA, San Francisco, and NYC.

Can’t wait to see ATL easily train an entirely new crew. Lol

Who gives a frick? It doesn’t take much to train new cops. The profession is not compromised of jet propulsion engineers.
Go frick yourself.

If you don't live downtown with all the hoodlums you have nothing to worry about. I live itp, my mailing address says Atlanta. I'm less than 5 miles from downtown where all the shite has gone on and I'm 100% honest in saying that if it wasn't for news or social media I would have zero idea any of that was going on. Where I live is regular, normal people going on about their lives. Why should I be in any kind of fear bc of what the animals are doing in the bad parts of town?
I guess if you work there or go to events in those areas you should worry.
If you never leave your home, than yeah, nothing to worry about.

I have deleted my tweet about two zones walking out on the Atlanta police force. Three officers confirmed, but it does not appear to be an organized action by the police. It appears to be buzzing that it is happening, but the buzz is being treated as fact without confirmation

Who could have seen that coming

Did you write this from 1960s Detroit by any chance?
Posted on 6/17/20 at 6:46 pm to OMLandshark
Nah I wrote it from my comfy home in a safe neighborhood with low crime. Atlanta has seen a massive influx the last decade of people moving back into the city and many of the slummy areas have been gentrified with nearly million dollar homes. But I'm sure the last 3 months is going to undo all that :eyeroll:

I see nothing on the local news pages or their twitter accounts. Yall sure this shite is going down?
Posted on 6/17/20 at 6:53 pm to WG_Dawg
Are you aware that 1960s Detroit was one of the richest cities in America at the time?
