I wouldn't care to be honest and I certainly wouldn't let him ruin the Christmas atmosphere in my house. I would have left the food out for him and moved on.

This is why I don’t stay at people’s houses. Our routine is not the norm and I hate feeling forced to participate in a different routine out of politeness. (I do not sleep until noon though)
