Rate my truck purchase

I purchased my first vehicle today. I’ve been fortunate enough to not have to purchase a vehicle on my own in my 30 years. So, I’m curious how I did:
I owned a 2008 z71 Silverado with 140k miles. I’ve been looking for a slightly used truck for a couple months now, but didn’t find anything I was ready to jump on until today.
2018 Silverado z71 4wd LT2
-crew cab
-5miles, still had plastic on doors etc.
-no leather
-bose sound
-Sticker $50,770
Manufacturer incentives for year end brought it to $36,770.
They offered $7,500 on my trade, but I later countered. KBB was ~$8,500 for trade value.
Got them to take off all fees and “additional equipment.”
Ended up financing $31,337 with TT&L. My credit score was 824, but the best interest rate was through my bank at 3.09%. Felt like this was a little high, but I rent and have never financed a large purchase before.
Overall, salesmen of the OT, how would you rate my purchase?

How many months on the finance?
I just bought 2 months ago and got 2.7% with worse credit on a 75month

Not overly impressive but not bad. GM and Ford knock $15K off the sticker as soon as they say hi.

Nice. Take it to a local credit union and refinance down to .9% or so. Other than that good work.

Didnt negotiate a set of free truck nuts? Bad deal

Nice truck. Sounds like you did a good job negotiating. Don't worry what others may say. You were in the arena. They weren't.

You know lots of very successful real estate investors don't own their primary residence.

What? No step bars On a truck w/LT2 pkg and it was STILL 50k?

I think you did good. Congrats.
Typical. Next time get pre approval from a bank for lower. 3.09 still isn't bad if you got incentives. They probably could've done better.

Nothin to do with what you paid, but how does a 51k sticker truck not have leather.

if you can't pay cash you can't afford it

Doesn't add up. Leather, step bars and the 20" alloy wheels are standard with LT2 package.
The only way I can see that truck having a sticker price over 50k is dealer add ons like fabric protector (which is nothing but a money maker because the fabric is already stain resistant from the factory) or some made up crap by the selling dealer.

You read it wrong. That was his trade.
I have a 15 that's paid off and honestly been thinking about trying to see if there are any new 17's left, possibly '18, that I could get a good deal on.
Damn you OP for making this thread !! Lol

When he relates he is parking his truck in a garage on 5th Ave or Central Park West my opinion MIGHT change but we both know that is not the case...
