Rapper Mystikal was arrested Thursday for allegedly raping a woman in his Baton Rouge apartment earlier this month, police said.

Much of the attack was videotaped, according to an arrest warrant for the musician, whose name is Michael Tyler.
Tyler also is accused of inviting over two friends who are also accused of sexually assaulting the woman, police said. Those men also surrendered to police Thursday.
Tyler denied the crime as police led him from headquarters Thursday morning, his hands cuffed in front.
"Of course not," he said in response to questions about whether he had committed the crime.
He joked with reporters and got in a plug for an upcoming CD before police put him into the back of an unmarked car to take him to be booked into Parish Prison.
Tyler, 31, 2510 Gates Circle, No. 20, was booked with aggravated rape and extortion, police spokeswoman Cpl. Mary Ann Godawa said.
Tyler was released after less than four hours on a $250,000 bond, booking records show.
Attorneys Michael Guy and Gary Harvey, who were with Tyler when he emerged from police headquarters, declined to comment on Tyler's arrest.
Guy also was with Leland "Pokie" Ellis, 36, 9512 Langham Drive, and Vercy "V" Carter, 34, 9429 Langham, when they were led from police headquarters later Thursday morning. They were booked on the same counts, Godawa said.
Tyler is accused of attacking the woman at his apartment July 3, according to the warrant for his arrest.
The woman went to Tyler's apartment about 8 p.m. to braid his hair. He confronted her about some checks from his account written to her by a third person, according to the warrant.
Tyler is accused of threatening to have her prosecuted over the checks and threatening "great bodily harm," the warrant said.
He is accused of ordering her into the bedroom and telling her to undress, the warrant said. She told police she complied because she was afraid, the warrant said.
He is accused of forcing her to perform oral sex on him while he called friends and told them to come over because there was an emergency, the warrant said.
Ellis and Carter arrived at the apartment a short time later and the woman, who is 40, was forced again to perform oral sex on Tyler, the warrant said.
Tyler is accused of having Ellis videotape him having oral sex and sexual intercourse with the woman, the warrant said.
He also is accused of anally raping her while the recorder was turned off, the warrant said.
The woman told police she was forced to have sexual intercourse with Carter and forced to perform oral sex on Ellis while being videotaped, the warrant said.

Godawa said that when the woman was allowed to leave the apartment, she went to a hospital and contacted police.
"She came forward immediately," Godawa said.
On July 4, detectives searched Tyler's apartment and seized a video camera and a locked safe, the arrest warrant said.
A search warrant said they also seized clothing, bath towels, washcloths and a bed spread.
They got a second warrant July 8 permitting them to open the safe and, when they opened it July 9, they found a videotape inside, the warrant said. They also found more than $134,000 in cash, according to a search warrant.
"Detectives viewed the video cassette and confirmed that the accused and two co-defendants had sexually assaulted the victim," the warrant said.
Later that day, detectives got a copy of an affidavit that Harvey, the attorney, had gotten the victim to sign.
It said she had consensual sex with Tyler, Ellis and Carter, the warrant said.
When detectives met with the victim, she told them Harvey had contacted her and told her that the case had been "jeopardized," the warrant said. This made her "feel compelled to sign the affidavit," the warrant said.
She told detectives she signed the affidavit because she was confused and scared, but still wanted to pursue criminal charges, the warrant said.
Tyler moved to Baton Rouge when he recorded for Master P's No Limit Records. He has since split with No Limit and now records for Jive Records.
His latest CD is "Tarantula," released in December. Many of his songs have sexually explicit lyrics.
Tyler was arrested in 1998 in Kenner after a police officer pulled him over and found a marijuana cigarette and a handgun in his car. He said at the time that it was a wake-up call that he was celebrating too much.
