Quitting coffee. Have you noticed any withdrawal symptoms?

For those who have been daily coffee drinkers for an extended period of time and have quit cold turkey, did you notice any withdrawal symptoms?
I wasn't a heavy coffee drinker per se, but I had about 16 ounces nearly every morning for the past several years and sometimes 12 or 16 more later in the day. Quit about 5-6 days ago and my sleep cycle seems to be a bit off. I've been remembering my dreams like crazy and also woke up in the middle of the night a few times which is out of the ordinary. Groggy in the mornings even after getting a full 8 hours and then tired at around 6 or 7 later that day.
Obviously my dump schedule is also going through a resetting.
Any body else have any recognizable symptoms to speak of?

Why in God's name would you quit coffee? It's the elixir of life.

Don't get me wrong, I love coffee. But I have a feeling it may be contributing to some gut issues so I'd like to eliminate it from my consumption for awhile to see if it's a contributor.

I didn't have any this morning before getting to the office and I felt close to fainting at one point.

I'm a heavy coffee drinker (morning & night - when it's time to crack out on the PS4) and I've given coffee up last year during lent season.
It might suck the first week, but you'll get over it and find different alternatives (drinking more water, tea, etc.) May or may not experience slight headaches which is just you being a crackhead about coffee.

I actually did have some headaches the first couple days but I couldn't determine if that was from the lack of coffee or from the cold I'd been getting over.

I tried quitting once, but found that it decreased the number of shits I took at work. I quickly started abusing it again.

stomach issues or contributing to having a gut?

Do you drink it black or with all the additional crap? I could see your stomach hurting if you use so much cream and sugar.. I don't see how you'd be hurting if you drank it black.
