2.5 months post partem.

Been over a month in some different situations but very rarely longer than that.

ETA: she had some tearing after our first and went back in the hospital for a week about 3 weeks post birth and we were told to hold off 6 weeks.

I got her back post vasectomy when I joked about tipping my Dr before my surgery to tell her double the amount of times I needed to clean the pipes after I was in the clear and he actually did it.

We were a few short with three days to go and it was an interesting time.

Get out. Even my ex-wife insisted I do the deed at 0400 before I left for the airport.

Every divorced woman over 40 I've dated since my divorce is "if you want it, you take it." I'm not even kidding. 4-5x a day. Sometimes 1x a day admittedly, but leaning hard the other direction.

“Is your wife a goer?”

Candid snaps, possibly taken on holiday?

Three weeks at a time. But when I get home, it's twice a day for the first two weeks off a about 3 to 4 times the third week of. Married 20 years and we're 50ish.

Why no one prepares is beyond me...

African tribes women will literally sit on a gourd.

It doesn't kill you to get some coconut oil and play with that thing leading up to birth.

It'll lessen the risk of tearing and actually make things much better postpartum.

the longest it’s been is 3 weeks - he was out of the country working for that long. We didn’t wait that long after the kids were born

It was probably more around 2.5 / 3 weeks after a C Section. Things aren’t as bad down there as natural births.

not really - vows usually mention faithfulness but nothing about the frequency of sex

A 7 month span that started before the birth of our twins and post birth. Currently on a technical 3 month stretch post birth of the third (she used sex to try to go into labor), we did it twice for that, 3 month stretch prior to that. It used to be a huge fight when went longer than 3 weeks. Now I just dont really give a damn. Its not worth the emotional toll of the fights. I still feel like shite and unwanted. I just live with it.

After the birth of our second, my wife got on an IUD and I could literally count on one hand how many times we had sex in FIVE years. After 5 years, she had it removed and it was like night and day. She turns 40 soon and cannot keep her hands off me and wants it basically every day. I'm grateful but I'm also tired, boss.

As we get older my wife wants it more frequently than our younger days. In the last 25 years the biggest drought was when she was showing with our kids until a month after birth. My hand gained a lot of strength during those months.
