Question about adults with roommates

How many of you lived with a roommate (or multiple) post-college? I'm talking about non-significant others, spouses, etc.
I'm 29 and I've lived alone since I was 20. I keep meeting women my age and older who have roommates and it's just odd to me. You'd think most people would rather live alone. I mean at some point I'd be more concerned about being independent and not having to deal with roommate BS than saving a little bit of money.
Was talking to a girl the other day who is 31 and has 3 roommates (and they're not even attractive). I'm not trying to date someone where when I go to their place we either stay in their room the whole time or hang out in the common area with a whole gang of people.
Or why would 2-3 grown men want to live together post-college? Even if they're best friends.

To save money. This is about as simple as which direction does the sun rise.
Edit: also its a lot more expensive to live in the middle of a city than some shitty 3 bedroom 1 bath in Ellic.

Low value women do this or ones with degrees in non stem and a plethora of student loan debt.

Some people don't allow society to shame them for thier decisions.
Living alone after a certain age is largely an American thing.

I'm 33.
Lived with a roommate my entire life.
Saves a ton of money.
Not to mention one of my prior roommates was an OT 10, so it was a no brainer.

Men past 30 with a roommate is a bad sign. 25-29 shouldnt really have more than 2 or 3. Still figuring things out, and not sure if you end up being where you are.
Girls not married, and with roomates in her 30s...run brah. She's not successful in life at all. Cant get a guy or a career worth a lick to live alone.
*now there are always small possible good reasons, but on a whole. Like just finishing med/law school or in residency.

I had a roommate the entire time I was in the military. Let's say you get $800/month for housing. You get a roommate and split the bills and end up spending $400-500 and pocket an extra $300-400/month.
In that situation it's a no-brainer.

I have roommates because I'm not married and I don't like to leave my house unoccupied while I'm traveling for work (which is more often than not lately)
Pays the mortgage
Obviously if I got married or something they'd all be gone

He's not talking about people who live with their families until they get married as a part of tradition.

This especially in cities. I don't have roomates but all the power to them if in a major city, harder to live there than a town or boonies.

it's not a "little" money, so you not a good argument.
But why dont you always hang out at your place then? you shouldnt be "hanging out in her bedroom" like a college kid, at her place if you live alone. you should mostly just be at her place to pick her up or short periods.
