Putting on pants covered in fire ants

This morning I was preparing to repair my future money maker, A 1997 Ford 350 tour bus. TulaneLSU poorboy tours of New Orleans
I still regularly wear my high school uniform. A beautiful pair of khaki pants and Bates leather shoes. I still firmly recall the trip to Skobel’s with Mother nearly 2 decades ago. She wisely told me to take good care of these clothes. If I did they could last a lifetime. So far she has been right. I love that uniform and even though now it has stains it’s a great outfit for a night on the town, a trip to church, or a morning in the shop.
Unfortunately this morning my pants had a very unpleasant surprise in them. I didn’t realize it until I had them zipped up, buttoned and belted.
First sensation was almost like a friend tickling you. That was followed by a less pleasant sting.Within 10 seconds my legs and privates I have a four alarm fire on them.
I look down and see hundreds of fire ants scurrying about the outside of the pants. I quickly remove my pants and realize I am covered in them. I jump in the shower, wash them off, but it’s too late. My lower body looks as it hasn’t since I had chicken pox.
I will have to take this up with my landlord. And I will take this as a bad omen and as well hold on doing any automotive work today.

I give you my word I have hundreds of ant bites that were suffered less than an hour ago.

This has kind of a Psycho vibe to it.

When you spill sauce or gravy in your pants you should wash them or you will attract ants. Ants like gravy.

You are a treasure to this board.
I bet you looked lovely in your khaki pants.

Back around 1980 or so, I was standing in the parking lot of the Sting bar in Hammond. We were waiting for the doors to open for $5 all you can drink night.
Behind the bar was a drive in movie theatre that was on its last legs which was obvious by their showing of soft core porn movies.
The group I was with was occupied by watching the movie, no sound of course, to shorten our wait time to commence drinking cheap booze.
Then I felt it, a thousand massive stings on my legs! I had been standing in a red ant pile and they stealthily climbed up my pants legs and all started biting at the same time.
I had to tear off my Calvin Kleins in the parking lot. Fortunately, I had remembered my Mother's advice about always wearing clean underwear.
The pain of the stings was soon numbed by cheap $5 all you can drink alcohol.

That would be the definition of ants in your pants

I advise you to avoid doing that again in the future.

I thought SpidermanmanTuna (Tulane lsu) was dead. Did his brother take over his account? I remember the news story a few years back. Thought it was a suicide or domestic incident.

Had this happen to me once. Boss takes me outside to look at his new truck. Pop the hood to gander at the engine. Front end of his truck was partially blocking an ant mound that I couldn't see.
Stepped right in that damn thing. The funny dance you do when a 100+ fire ants are crawling up your leg biting you is a thing of beauty.

Ants in your pants.
Wasn't that the name of a kids board game in the 1980s.
