Is Maurizio Cattelan’s $120,000 Banana Sculpture a Cynical Sign of the Times or a Thrilling Artwork?

They’re actually brilliant because they’re a) laundering money or b) avoiding taxes (I guess both) by spending a frickload on stupid art pieces.

The symbolism has such deep meaning:

White males are to be suppressed.

Well worth the $120k in today's CNN society

Aren’t you the adult that has some special high dollar ergonomic gaming chair sitting in your living room that you sit in while gaming?

Cattelan is known for sculptures that challenge popular culture. One of his artworks -- an 18-carat-gold toilet valued at around $6 million -- made headlines in September when it was ripped out of a wall and stolen from Bleinheim Palace in England.
The functioning toilet -- titled "America" -- had been part of Cattelan's exhibition "Victory is Not an Option."

I've got a couple million dollars worth sitting on my counter at home.

My one question. Is the banana real essentially making it a living art piece? The banana starts to rot on the wall and the flies take over. Fun for the whole family
