The nurses I became close to ( in the infusion centers) did it one of two ways:
Either they gave you their heart b/c they knew you were all in for her, or
they held back, b/c they knew if they got too deep they couldn't come back.
Either way way was fine w/ me, and I understood both situations.
I loved 'em every one.

If you know their favorite college or pro sports team, a ball cap is an easy gift for men, especially if it isn't garish and they can work in it.

More than likely it was both. I’m very attached to most of my patients. I love them dearly. They’re precious and their families are as well.
I appreciate all of y’all input and really do want to do something sweet for them. So thank y’all for your suggestions.

Oh they were all great, always made sure I had room for the ice chests, and of course plenty of warm blankets.
You gotta get through it any way you can.

Or, a heart shaped fake diamond pendant from K (not Kay) jewelers would be nice. Every kiss begins with K.

I love the amaryllis idea personally.
Or depending on how long you’ve known them, maybe take a photo of you with them and hand write a Christmas card??
