Like I said, obviously none of you are clients and obviously we have a lot of work to do in order to clean up our reputation. This thread makes that clear.

But it's neat. Instead of him going and signing up new clients to sell stuff to, he wants to sign you up to do selling so that he can help you make a bunch of money.

I made a killing with Kramerica Industries.

Financial product are what they are. The problem with Primerica is the recruiting efforts are slimy and they've got basically zero equity invested in their new recruits.

This can't be the first time you've heard this kind of criticism, right?

Is it true primerica buys your company back for 300%. The dude that pitched me at Home Depot said if your company is worth 300k they will buy it back from you for 300%. But he went on to say that no one wants to sell because they see the potential it has and they can make that money on their own.

The new recruits are the equity. I have every reason to train and help a new recruit because their success directly correlates with mine. The people who are recruiting new people as not training them properly are wasting their time and the recruit's time.

But Primerica doesn't invest anything in them. There is no investment to build your business ethically, it's just sink or swim.
Are you paid while you train and become licensed?

There is a program like that in place. I'm not sure of the payout because I'm far from that but I've heard my father talk about it. I believe it is higher than 300% but don't quote me on it.

I was called up by an acquaintance I knew but not all that well a while back. I didn't know he worked for Primerica and he asked if I wanted to meet up. He must have been running out of new people for his pyramid.
Primerica is sketchy enough as it is, but they don't help themselves any by acting so sketchy about what they do. They don't give straight answers and beat around the bush.
It's a very strange culture, and I look down on anyone who gets involved with them.

Exactly. If everything is so hunky dory, just show me on the up and up. Lay it all out there and let the company speak for itself.

People who are actually reputable insurance professionals can only shake their heads. Avoid Primerica, NAA, Symmetry or any of the insurance pyramid churn and burn rackets like the plague.
If you like the industry go to a reputable Insurance broker or other professional or somebody who has mastered his craft and pick his brain. Don't be a bottom feeder. These guys are LITERALLY handing out business cards at RaceTrac.

Wrong, if you have a license you will get paid a commission on every sale you make no matter if you've hired 0 people or 100. As you are promoted (by selling life insurance and hiring a few people, not many) your commissions will increase.
There's no "getting in at the beginning". Everyday is the beginning. They have people that have worked for the company for 30 years making 300k a year and they have people that have worked for 2 years making 300k a year. It's all about the effort you put forth in growing your business.
Have they changed their policy within the past 7-9 years? Because I know 100% for sure, that the guy I was referring to had to sign up a certain number of people before he could start getting commission.
In fact, I said he was between jobs but he had actually quit because he decided to take an exam or some shite because something that came up with Edward Jones and he had to take an exam and he was going to be off for months studying for this exam. He wanted to see if it was something he could make a few extra dollars doing while he would not be working for a few months. And I remember him telling me "man, this is where they get you. You don't get commission on the first 6 (or 7.. around that number) sales. And then he said.. Who are people most likely going to first? Parents, siblings, grandparents, cousins, friends, then after that you have to hustle. And basically said "for someone to really be successful in this shite, they have to pretty much be working every minute they are not sleeping and then hope the people you can sale to is willing to hustle as well".
It would take several years for someone to start earning enough to live on and how many people do you know is willing to not make enough to pay the bills for several years before they might have the chance to start making a living?

Period schemes are illegal. Mlm is not. Get your facts straight. PM is mlm just like advocare, & others. People DEFINATELY crash & burn doing these things just as some people make very large amounts of money.
