They used to have "meetings" in my side room at work. It was bayou trash with chin strap beards and ill fitting business attire. I felt bad for them but hoped someone found a way to break the cycle for themselves

Bill Whittle who is at top of Prymiad bought one of the ten most expensive homes sold in Baton Rouge last year

I'm an FA, and we laugh at Primerica. Primerica is for people who don't actually want to help clients. They just want to be rich. I wouldn't let anyone I love near Primerica with a 50' pole.

Went to a meeting once
Had a hot mid 30s lady approach me at my college job and ask me to go grab a coffee for a job opportunity discussion.
I'm broke as hell making close to minimum wage so I go get coffee, and she talks about the money and the benefits and all that jazz and I'm young and dumb so I agree to go to one of their "meetings". It was like a pep rally for a cult. Just everyone cheering and talking about the money they make. Did a "money pull" for new recruits and I think the special guest was some ex LSU kicker. That's when I figured out what this was and got out of there as soon as I could
Turns out she was my best friends aunt as well so I've had to have some awkward conversations at family functions later in life as well

Had a friend try it out. He was between jobs and when he couldn't get a job right away he gave it a try, while continuing to look for a job. He learned right away that the people who made their money are those who were in it early. You have to get several people to join before you can get commission. It's pretty much set up so that the average person will get will not get commission for the handful of people that they will be able to sell to (like family members and close friends). Then after that you have to make it a full time job if you want to make any type of money. Then you have to get a few people under you, who has to work really hard, in order for you to even think about doing it for a living.. And since there is only a limited amount of people in a region who would buy into it, as more people join, it becomes saturated and.. It's pretty much a crock of shite.

Yeah Bill Whittle played basketball for Press Maravich. His son, Blake is big time at primerica as well.

One of the ten most expensive sales of 2017, not one of the ten most expensive houses

I think I asked this awhile back and never really got a response, but how do companies like PA, legally, get away with not being a "pyramid scheme"?
It seems like it fits the definition of one. They top people make the most, the people under them makes more than anyone other than the people on top and so on. And the more people someone has under them, they more successful they are and everyone above them benefits from it.

I've heard some bad as well as good things about this company. I don't want to name names but I've seen some guys who've made a lot of money doing it, for the record.
It's a Pyramid. They have some decent products they can sell but they way they do business is terrible. The people making money are the ones with a bunch of people under them.

MLMs are legal because most of the compensation is based on the sale of products and services. Giving a cut of commissions to people above you isn't against the law.
It's a dirty business, but that's how they get away with it. Hell, Primerica and Herbalife are publicly traded companies.

I played with his son at a basketball camp for a couple of years. He thought he was the best fricking player alive and always came to camp in the brand new expensive Jordan gear.
Now he was a pretty good player, and I believe he may have played one year of D-1 ball before going down a couple levels to finish his career, but he always rubbed me the wrong way.

I then inquired on his living arrangements since he was recently divorced
To be fair, divorce will ruin many men, regardless of their occupation

Is their term life competitive?

An old military buddy of mine been with Primerica for over ten years. He constantly post on Facebook about building his empire and looking for a few people to come with him, lol. He seems to be doing well for himself though. He tried luring me into that sceme, but I told him the whole thing sounds like one big pyramid sceme.
