The Allen Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating after water was drained from crawfish ponds near Oberlin.
Matt Hebert, with 3H Farm and Ranch, posted that the crawfish ponds were drained overnight costing the farm thousands of dollars. Hebert said the plugs were pulled on drain pipes.
Sheriff Doug Hebert confirmed his office is investigating.
A 25-year-old Oberlin man has been arrested and is being held on $155,000 bond. Gregory Jude Monceaux faces counts of theft of $1,000 or more but less than $5,000, criminal mischief, and simple criminal damage to property.
Matt Hebert said Monceaux is a former employee of the farm.

I’m shocked the crawfish farmer didn’t bring his own brand of “justice” to Monsieur Monceaux.

As if times weren't tough enough, what with them losing an H and all, now this has to go and happen.

This is what happens when you get arrested in a Parish/County that isn’t a libshithole
And also when the guy who owns the ponds knows a judge

Probably has priors, and without knowing much about Allen Parish, the perp is probably a well known shite bag.
