It was straight up piss water

Then why does the can say "famous for quality"? Also, isn't "half quart" just a pint?

Cajun Brewing Co. located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin?

The only place I ever saw this swill was in my great uncle's garage fridge at his place outside Opelousas back in the early 90's.

I loved All My Tomorrows, but the last ones I had were badly over-carbonated. Still, it was probably the best Great Raft beer I’ve had.

What an all-time dumb business decision changing the name from Dixie was. Anyone with a modicum of sense knew it would be a stupid decision from the outset. But I guess vapid virtue signaling is more important that having good business judgmetn.

Step 1. Build a new brewery to brew Dixie
Step 2. Change the name of a non-descript beer with at least a long history of brand recognition into a non-descript beer no one has ever heard of, and most people outside of South Louisiana can't even pronounce.
Step 3. Shut down the brewery after less than 5 years because, in part, no one is buying the "new" (old) beer.

Forgot about this gem.
True story. There was an old man in the small town I grew up in that was a raging alcoholic. The town sheriff finally took his license after he wiped out all the mailboxes on his street...but, you can't keep a good alchy down.
He would drive his Murry riding mower to a local store and buy a case of Texas Pride beer because it was the cheapest in the store. He would drive back home with it on the hood of the mower and as long as he didn't open one, the local Barney Fife left him alone.
