There was honest work involved in scrambled Cinemax or a Macy's catalog or your buddy stealing a Playboy and passing it around at school.
The chase is entirely gone. It leads to immediate gratification and subsequent dissatisfaction, which I suppose is why even us dirtbags look through the front page, most viewed sections of this stuff and go "ok what the frick"

Some people are drawn to weirder and weirder stuff to maintain the thrill. Others just get jaded and move on. I, and I assume most others on here could be looking at porn right now if we wanted to. Instead we're hanging out on the OT.

A news media which instead chooses to focus on the rare instances of a criminals being shot by police officers who have one of the most dangerous jobs on earth.
