I’ve always found these types of lists totally bogus. This one damn well proves it.
I’m calling bullshite on the whole article.

Now I’m craving a flora Bama bushwhacker

Sazerac
I’ve made several since the shutdown started. It’s not a complex or difficult cocktail

The searched-for cocktail in Georgia is the sazerac. The drink is made with cognac, absinthe, one sugar cube and Peychaud’s bitters. It’s a complex drink you’re sure to find at the best cocktail bars in America once quarantine is over.
What the frick? It's literally made with Sazerac, not cognac. And the absithe/herbsaint is just to coat the glass, it isn't mixed in.

I've made plenty. Takes barely 2 minutes.

Sazerac got its name from Sazerac de Forge et Fils brand of cognac brandy.

Ah, sorry. cocktailbuilder.com
Most of the cocktails it shows are very bad. I usually have to look through several recipes before finding one to try, but it has helped me find a few new ones.
One of the new ones I liked is the Whiskey Rebellion with bourbon, Pimm's No 1, and lemon juice.

FINALLY someone put that fricking Mint Julep to rest. Terrible arse drink
Bourbon
Mint
Sugar
three delicious things. I trust no human who doesn’t like a julep

I would rather have a whiskey sour over a hurricane anyday. Does that mean I have to move to Alaska?

I'm not going to lie I had a couple of bushwhackers at Flora-Bama over the weekend.

I make Sazeracs often. One of my favorites. Sometimes I use cognac; sometimes rye.

Ehhhhhhh. I’ll allow it given the circumstances.

Like, “Hey, I’ve got this website that gives me free stock tips and I’ve tripled my money.” Then walks away. WTF?

Fact
And any cocktail that you have to rinse with absinthe is trying way too fricking hard.

The Whiskey Sour is the greatest cocktail ever. So, no.
Enjoy the greatest cocktail of all time anywhere you wish, my friend.

I will have to try that. I've been drinking a lot of rye Manhattans.
