quote:Im not worried about percentages. What does that get you? Small home? Short trip to the beach a couple times per year or one larger trip?
well it puts you in the top 10% of incomes in Orlando, so I'd say it gets you better than a "mediocre" life

Why are you struggling with this?

What are these luxuries at 100k?
vacations, cars, homes, etc

$1,500 a month in food stamps
$1,200 a FREAKING WEEK unemployment from the Government unemployment stimulus plan
$4,500 Stimulus Check
This is why we are soooooo fricked.....
My wife is a #frontlinehero (RN) and she makes less a pay period (bi weekly) than those collecting unemployment from the stimulus plan....

Rage should properly be directed at cruise ship companies and airlines who are getting billions of dollars to subsidize their bad business practices.

the level of the homes and vehicles are absolutely luxury items
again...why are you struggling with this?

A RN working full time makes less than $1200 every two weeks? That seems low. That's like 32k per year. Even if you add in state unemployment of like $250/wk it's still less than 45k.
Not saying that I don't think it's a little ridiculous btw.

quote:Because a short trip to the beach is mediocre. An 1800 sq ft home is mediocre. A sensible Accord is mediocre. With 100k, a $3000 medical bill will hurt and probably be put on a credit card. Nicer cars and items will result in significant debt.
again...why are you struggling with this

No shite. People will suck any corporate dick, because they’re job Creators, but they’ll eviscerate some trailer trash for wanting to see the ocean for the first time, spending all of their gifted money at corporate logos along the way, just as it were intended.

Lol no that would be low.
I thought the OP said something like 1200 every week for a total of 2400 every two weeks.

I'll be honest, you sound like you are absolutely terrible with money.
For the vast majority of this country, ANY vacation is good. Not all 1800 sq ft home are created equal. Not everyone value luxury cars (even those that can afford them).

that would be retarded as you could just call the hospital and pay it off monthly with zero interest

Yeah.

OP you sound like a bitter jealous person. Stop begrudging people for good fortune and focus on you and yours
I'm not bitter, this is my niece who I help frequently. Great girl who makes shitty life decisions.
I'm happy for her and hope she enjoys her fun at the beach.
Just find it odd that you can make more money not working than you can working. Merica

I only eviscerate them when they're doing so on my dime.

If they need drug money, I buy food stamps 50¢ on the dolla.

Not all 1800 sq ft home are created equal.

Cars are money pits. An Accord is a smart financial choice regardless of income.

You are focusing on income but need to focus on savings rate.

Nicer cars and items will result in significant debt.
Well that is personal choice. You don't need those items but you want them.
Learn to differentiate between needs and wants and you will be better off.
