A York County woman this week was the first person in Pennsylvania to be cited for violating Gov. Tom Wolf’s stay-at-home order, according to state police.

The 19-year-old woman was given a citation for allegedly “going for a drive,” according to the citation obtained by Pennlive.

If they don’t get out the car, how are they harming anyone?

I see no issue with someone going for a drive, then going right back home.

The only person she probably interacted with was the cop.

how can you be possibly any more social distancing then going for a drive by yourself?

if i were her i would make an appointment with that cop telling him i'll see you tomorrow and every day after this and when this is over he will be part of the million dollar lawsuit for denial of her constitutional rights

they can call it whatever they want and make up whatever authority they think they have, but at the end of the day its unconstitutional and they are violating her rights

Going for a drive seems like a much better option than going to a park or something.

People need to get out of their house/apartment, what’s the big deal if they stay in their car and clear their head?

Don't dare figuratively say that these shutdown orders are locking people in their homes though...

This is absolute pure bs. And it should not stand should she choose to fight it.

Last time I checked, car exhaust does not spread coronavirus.
