True, private equity groups have screwed up manufacturing as well as service organizations at an amazing rate
But it does allow for the growth and rebirth of more smaller privately owned companies

And now shes killed 9 people but irrelevant because youre an old man that wants to bang.
At some point our country has to have a frank discussion about perverted old men and girl dads who hate young men.
Well. We don’t actually know what happened. A supercell with ice at 370 could take out a military jock with twenty thousand in type.
As for the rest, Mrs Judge Holden wants me to tell you that I am kept too busy for my eye to wander.
I don’t know why I would hate young men. I think young men face steeper challenges with fewer skills than I did. Life has changed. No problem saying that, and it does not take away from the fact that, with whatever advantage over today’s bucks, I busted my fricking arse to get where I am.
But I don’t think hating young women or old men is going to make it any better for you.

Very true.

No doubt. But I thought I heard ATC denied a course change. Could very well be wrong on this.
Personally, I just stayed the hell away from thunderstorms. But professional pilots flying a Lear can be replaced if they don’t get the plane owner where they want to be.
Look at the Arnold and Itkin crash in Maine. Lot of pressure on a pilot to get there.

I don't think that was the case. In the audio clip she said that they were managing the ice.
And 74 seconds later they crashed into the ground

I don't care about gender of my pilots, but if I was getting aboard a 20 year old jet with two baby-faced pilots in poor weather conditions, I might freak the frick out before the door is shut.
I've flown private plenty in my life through work I really get uncomfortable if I don't have an older person up there. Happened a few times, but they weren't in their early 20s and the weather wasn't bad.
Sidenote - if I was to ever become a billionaire and have my own flight crew, they'd be some badass motherfrickers with military and commercial experience and I'd pay them handsomely

And older, experienced pilots are a lot less likely to succumb to that pressure IMO.
If it's true these pilots were both early 20s, that is crazy.

If true, that is on the pilot. I’ll try to take a deeper look. Seems like I had that wrong.

I also took my bags and drove home once based on the pilots….
I pretty much never take the private option even when available for work anymore. Don’t care.

I'm honestly fascinated by how they'll figure this part out: Did the stabilizer break off at the stall or during the intense, extremely rapid desent? Did they find the horizontal stabilizers yet?
This accident has so many variables to it.
The flight data recorder survived the impact. That might be the only way to definitively know when the breakup occurred.

Very true.
Old pilots and bold pilots.
In their 20s? Was this a cut rate 135?

same crew, same tail number flew into the exact same conditions in New Jersey a few months ago
Edit: they were lower
Are you 100% certain that it was the same crew?

Everybody talking about the pilots and forgetting about what the passengers in the back were experiencing. Completely helpless, terrified, no explanation of what was going on and no way to have any affect on the outcome. Cruising along comfortably and then glued to your seat at 0.9mach, with untold noise, in an 82 second, 350+mph dart straight to earth. shite kept me awake thinking about it last night.

Jammed horizontal stabilizer (like in the movie Flight)?

Yep- I always take a peak into the cockpit when I’m boarding a commercial airliner- looking for gray or white hair usually means you are good. Seeing those 2 when getting on
I understand wanting to be reassured by seeing someone who appears experienced, but I just wonder what it would take for me to change all of my travel plans based on what I saw during that quick look into the cockpit. I really don’t know.

No, seems icing to stall to stabilizer ripped off from over speed.
