Pets & Animals: Would they eat you?

I was watching an episode of Yellowstone where some stupid bitch is a bleeding heart “for the treatment of cattle!!1!1 
”
Got me wondering… if a rancher died and the cows ate up all the grass… would they start in on the rancher?
Then that led me to wonder if there’s ANY animal that wouldn’t eat/kill you if it came down to it… Would a cooped up dog or cat eat the old lady who died in her sleep on the BarcaLounger?
Thoughts?

Yes, if they are hungry enough.
ETA: Probably not the cows, but certainly cats and dogs. If we're talking hogs, well......they would eat your bones, too.

I listened to a podcast not long ago by Woody Overton where a lady died and wasn’t found for weeks. Her cats started to eat her.

A herbivore isn’t going to eat you. But any carnivorous animal that was hungry enough would eat you. Stephen King wrote some great stories involving the idea.

I used to be a manager for a municipal animal shelter. Had non stop communication with animal control, and knew of many instances of owners passing away for days. Dogs got hungry and started to eat the owners. It was mostly small dogs, shitzu’s, French bulldogs, etc.

My cat would kill me, sniff me a few times, turn his nose up and walk away. Not because I stink, but because he’s just a shithead like that.

I had a patient once who, due to his diabetic foot issues and his general ignorance, didn't know his Pomeranian had been eating on his toes. The patient said he didn't know what did it while he was sitting on his porch but a family member said the dog had blood all around his face.
True story.
