Anyone hear anything new? She’s not at band camp and I overheard someone say they are still investigating.
Maybe men just lack the emotional intelligence to do the job.

This project has made my daily commute 95% better. It’s much nicer to get in the right lane on 10 and not have to cross 2-3 lanes of traffic to get to College or Acadian. People not understanding how to drive isn’t a new thing. That’ll never change.
He’s a genius. Found 3 dumb white women to support him.

Get the online estimate from Carmax. The last 3 cars that we have sold/traded in the past few years we did that and the dealership beat the offer.

I see someone suggesting Give me the Vin. That was a joke for me. Recently traded in a 2019 Accord. They offered $14k. Carmax $20k. Traded it at a dealership for $22k.

Let’s all freak out because a fat guy implied that another guy is fat.
I listened to a podcast not long ago by Woody Overton where a lady died and wasn’t found for weeks. Her cats started to eat her.

I’m in! Did dry January and have continued. Feels great and I miss it way less than I thought I would.
Where did you read that anyone was set on fire? Last night I read that the elderly man got away ok.

Late to the thread but 22 days in. 8lbs down and sleeping great. Also cut out processed garbage from our diets in the house. It’s been great.

re: 2023 Reading Challenge

Late to the party but I’ve been giving myself reading goals for the last few years. The most I’ve read in a year is 74 (with 30 being nonfiction)

This year I’m in grad school until September so it’ll hamper my personal enjoyment reading but I’ll read several textbooks in the program. I’ll likely read several between each semester then the bulk from September-December.

I’ll still set my goal for 50 with a 10 book nonfiction requirement. My favorite nonfiction books are WWII and true crime.

So far this year:
1) Tell No Lies-Allison Brennan
We just passed by there. Tons of police still out there. Zero streetlights working in that area. It’s dark as hell right there.
Of course he’s not going to admit it. He’s about to lose his house, his family, and half his pension. Besides, who would admit to banging that Godzilla?
Most ATMs in those types of businesses have very little money in them.
There were fires all the way past 22. I passed through going east at 5:15 and everything was clear. On my way back west at 5:45 the fires were everywhere. Fire Department was at a huge one at Hwy 22. Saw more fire trucks heading down the interstate after that.
He definitely needed to change his underwear after that.
What kind of electrolytes are you using during your runs? We have started using Liquid IV with Base Salt (and a gel or 2 depending how far we go) and that has made a huge difference in our long training.
Storm surge is going to cause destruction. If they don’t tell people how bad it’s going to be then some will stay and either drown or need to be rescued. Then there will be outcry that no one warned them.

The last thing anyone needs to be doing is rescuing a bunch of people in dangerous conditions. It’s better to go worst case (which may very well be the case here) and have people evacuate.
