It's definitely my favorite sports car by far. It's design is sexy as hell. It's fast as frick and fun to drive, and sounds like a god damn indy car

I'm mid 40s and have always owned a sports car. It's more the thrill of the drive and modding it than any attention it gets. I currently have a 16 z06 with 700hp to the tires and a GT350 that's getting twins installed shortly.

My daily driver is an F250 though. No truck nuts however. I'm not to that baller status yet. One day...

I generally think I’d probably get along with him, since we possibly have something in common, but mostly i just look at the car and don’t give a second thought to the person driving it

You sound insecure, obsessing over another mans money and possessions. Beta.

See someone that actually knows cars and understand sports cars knows that is a great drivers car. They are actually sublime on the track when setup correctly. Always more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow.

It's always comical on track day when an experienced driver in a Miata passes/laps the novice in his high end sports car.

That’s the sedan version of the car I want

Unless it’s an E-Class.

negative, it's a 2017 F80 M3 sedan. I actually kind of like the look of the sedan over the M4

Generally I just think its someone that probably has more money than sense and that we probably have nothing in common

I'm just kidding with you. It's obviously a nice car. I was/am looking at M3/M4s, but I got sticker shock. Hence my step down to the Audi.

Nope. Don't see the the point of a +120k sports car. Last time I checked the speed limit was still 70. For the same price I can get a Chevy High Country and a 24ft bay boat. But to each his own.

A few years ago I had the pleasure of taking a twin turbo 07 is350 out for a track day.

Idk what suspension was on it. The turbo, the tires. None of it.

But I fell in love with it.

I will own one.

I love watching track rats in spec Miatas hunting expensive toys with 5 rolls of blue painters tape on the fenders. Plus they always seem to have 4-5 GoPros running so they can relive ever angle later. Then you can tell the guy in the faster car is getting all juiced up when he runs them down on the straights with 2-3 times the horsepower.

If in BR this evening around 6:20, if you spot a vehicle that just seems...odd... On the highway.

It may or may not be me.

It's the miata principle taken too far

The sedans are actually better bones for a track car than the coupes, they are stiffer.

Miles Davis had a Lamborghini Miura and a Ferrari Testarossa. Herbie Hancock had an AC Cobra. Nuff said.

Both did crack though so there is that.

At least everyone is out enjoying their cars like they were meant to.

CLS63 AMG....wife's best friend just bought a new one. Her fiance' is shopping Mercedes GT's....awesome car. I actually started looking at the CLS63 AMG after driving hers. It's a very nice driver. However, I have my eye on a classic instead. Really want to pull the trigger on something like this:
