Surprised to see Tennessee and Georiga that low but rememered that Nashville and Atlanta have a ton of transplants. I bet outside of those cities the rest of the state is around 65%, if not higher.

Was born in central TN and live in Memphis, TN now but moved out of state when I was 7. I moved to Memphis after college.

Needs to be a stat of adults living in birth state but have lived elsewhere at some point - that matters

I guess a large percentage of Louisiana residents have never been to a city out of the state that is more than 200 miles from home where you notice an extreme difference.

As much as I want to leave Louisiana, if you make a lot of money here, it doesn’t make sense to leave and make the same money but pay drastically higher housing costs.

I am in the 63% of Kentucky and, and yes, it's because of proximity to family.
