Like what? My dog will literally do anything I tell him to and all he wants in return is ice, a toy, or to be petted.

Animals kill spontaneity. If I wanted to show up at home and tell my wife that we were going on a trip, we could just pack a bag and leave. We wouldn't have to worry about boarding an animal, or renting a hotel that allows for animals.

My in-laws don't take vacations because their dog is too stupid to be left with anyone outside of their family. It makes me bitter

I was at a friend's house last night sitting in the living room, and her "trained" dog decided to just stroll up to the middle of the living room and take a shite. That is ridiculous.

At the same time, I will say that I love having those little turd factories around. They're spastic, goofy balls of entertainment.

There are crazy arse dogs as well as crazy arse people. If you and the dog can't co-habitate then send him on to a new owner. Start posting on social media about how cool the dog is and post a few nice pics of it.

A poorly trained dog is what you have an issue with. My dog doesnt even bark without permission.

That includes my GF with this dumbass rescue maltipoo, who shits on the rug, pisses everywhere and is a dumbass of all sorts. I'm going to punt his arse over the fence of the dog park and leave.

A rescue dog often has issues as there is a reason that animal was rescued such as abuse and neglect. Not everybody is capable to handle that whether they lack the skill or just the time.

Having said that just from your posts, I don't believe you and your gf are capable of providing the necessary care for the dog. A dog is not a piece a furniture nor a toy. They do require a certain level of care and attention that goes with said care. I recommend you give the dog to a family or some one who can supply the care that dog needs.

Miss DupontsCircle, if somehow he survives, I'm throwing the dog out the window today on I-395 by King St exit.

Openly talking about committing a felony just highlights the lack of maturity you have. Do yourself and the dog a favor and find the dog a new caring home.

Side note- is there anything more disgusting than a person having dog hair all over their house? The dandruff gets on your clothes and in your eyes and it makes it just smells gross.

Why do people that have rescue dogs always have to mention it's a "rescue" when showing someone their pet?

That's been fertile ground for comedy.

Amy Schumer has a good skit: LINK

Bill Burr says those people are cheap fricks who went to the pound to get a free dog and now pretend they are noble saviors.

Or they are people who love animals and can't stand the thought of them living in cages or put to death because their human was a turd. Real funny
