Plz stahp. All you are doing is forcing the person behind you to pay for the person behind them. I went ahead and paid for the next 2 people in line in attempt to break the chain because I was annoyed.

It's the dumbest of nice actions in my book. People need to go donate twenty dollars to Saint Jude after they eat their breakfast sandwich rather than pay for someone else's overpriced coffee or breakfast.

This happened to me once and I was unaware this was a thing.
I pulled up, the drive thru girl was like "the person in front of you covered your order."
Me: "wow awesome", and drove off.

I just mumble Thanks out loud and drive off with my free stuff now. When this happens the first time I asked the window server how much was the person getting behind me. She said $19 bucks. I had gotten my $7 stuff free by the driver in front of me. I just gave her the cost of my breffuss and told her to take that off the person’s ticket that was behind me. Even Steven!
