It was $4,500 for me and paying it in installments isn’t bad.

If you brush and floss every day I don’t see the necessity. You don’t get “more clean” from the visit it’s more so the dentist can inspect your teeth for developing issues. If you aren’t prone to getting cavities I don’t see the issue.

I haven’t gone in 2 years because I don’t eat junk food and take care of my teeth plus my teeth have a small amount of space between them so food never gets stuck in there. I haven’t had a cavity since I was 3 yrs old

What is really gross is people that don’t floss. There was a thread on it once and it was shocking how many people admitted to not flossing.

Most people don't floss. I don't understand why you wouldn't now that they make the little plastic things making it so easy.

I love all the people in the thread saying they haven't been in 10-29 years and have no problems. How in the frick do you know you don't have problems? Just because something doesn't hurt, doesn't mean their isn't a problem.

That's like saying, "I don't go to the doctor, I am in perfect health"....well genius, unless you are getting regular blood work, you wouldn't know. You don't feel high cholesterol!!

A clean mouth and regular flossing is very very important to overall health. You usually don't feel a cavity until it's too late. Usually don't feel gum issues until much later.

Stop being a dumbass and go to the dentist!!!

You people go to the dentist that often? Lulz

I bet you all fall for that wash your hair twice a day and cut your grass once a week scam, too.

Oh, and change your car’s oil every 2500 miles and never eat food that gets left out 10 minutes.

Buncha sheep, I tell ya what.

I didn’t go for over 10 years. Didn’t have dental insurance.

Went beginning of last year and had zero cavities or issues. I’ve been going to my regular 6 month cleanings since continuing with no issues.

Depending on your premiums, paying cash for dental work is usually the best way to go. You're not going to get some catastrophic dental bill, so there isn't much of an actual insurance need there IMO.

My dental + vision are a combined like $7 a month. No brainer.

Don't listen to the OP, you nasty frickers keep being nasty. My fiancée is a Prosthodontist and it's good to see future financial security. RPD's, implants...bring your endentulous asses in and have your wallets ready...

I did as a kid but go once a year now. Somehow ended up with no major issues so guess I'm doing that whole brush and floss part well enough

Yep, I read study recently that said only three in ten people floss daily and 32 percent never floss. That is freaking nasty. If you don't floss you are a nasty person.
