Typical “people shouldn’t be responsible for their own actions” response. How hard is it to get out of your vehicle without slamming your door into the vehicle beside you?

Thats what I do. Park my vehicle away from others then when i return some other sob has parked right next to me. So i say frick their car if my door hits theirs.

That cuts both ways. When I get back to my truck and someone is parked 6” away from me, I frankly give zero fricks about my door hitting their vehicle.

I have no problem parking in the way back sometimes their isn’t other options unfortunately

Same. It's pretty rare that I park where there is a car within 4-5 spots of me.

While I agree with you in principle, your arse better be within the parking spot lines, or else all bets are off.

I did it once, on accident. Company truck. It was storming and when I opened the door, a gust of wind caught it and got the car next to me. Lightweight Toyota taco doors. I left my card on their windshield and told them to call our risk management team. I don't know if they did or not. I never heard anything else about it.
