These folks got a big stimulus check from the gov't along with extra $600 per week unemployment check. Add the state unemployment benefit and each one is getting between $1000-1500 a week. That’s 5k a month. Almost a 6 figure annual salary after taxes. Also if you have daycare (in my case) you have to add around $1000 extra revenue every month.
Yet can’t pay rent.
I think people are taking advantage of the situation.

You’re stretching the definition of the word “almost” beyond credulity.

Imagine how good the blowjob skills are at the top of that range though.

I don't know of any state paying $900 per week in unemployment to bump someone to $1500 each week. In LA it is something like $280 per week.

Not everyone is getting the $600 per week.

People should pay their rent if they can afford it and not be a PoS about it.

I have rental property and none of my tenants have gotten their stimulus check yet. They are all still paying rent so they aren't lying to keep from paying.

Unemployment benefit is $600 a week from the federal government in addition to what the state provides in unemployment, which is usually about half of your salary.

My wife was making 48K a year. Now she is getting $400 a week from the state, in addition to the $600 a week from the federal government.
