No, but I remember in high school we were assigned a writing topic of euthanasia and some kid wrote a paper on chinese teenagers. I suppose it was partially the teachers fault for just assigning it orally and not putting the word in writing

LOL

I'll give a serious answer. The Viet Cong used these tactics. A friend was a tunnel rat in Vietnam. His job was to go down in the tunnels and root them out or kill them.

The Tunnel Rats of the Vietnam War

And it's guerilla.

In the early 70’s, and wondering…”what in the frick is going on?” And “are they coming here?”

I was very young at that time (lower elementary) so the only definition I knew was that of "gorilla" (the spelling would come later). So yes, whenever they talked about it on the news I thought of the gorillas as I had no context for "guerillas".

Everyone thinks the Gorillas in Zoo's are there for our viewing pleasure. They are in fact sleeper cells waiting to unleash the Gorilla Warfare of all Gorilla Warfare's on our asses.

I guess the quotation marks didn’t have the intended effect.

Well, maybe if you had used them correctly (or maybe spelled the word you heard correctly and not used them at all). . .

Guerrilla warfare was a method we trained partner forces in during the late 80s/early 90s.

... Remember hearing about Gorilla warfare a lot when I was a little kid and asked my grandad why gorillas were attacking our soldiers during viet nam. He got a kick out of that and explained what the term meant. Think I was around 4 or 5.

I thought Jane Goodall brought peace to the gorilla kingdoms and the tribes live in harmony with one another.

Why did I think Jane Goodall had been murdered by poachers? Am I getting her mixed up with another conservationist?
