Pediatricians and anti-vaxxer parents.

My neighbor,a retired RN.is very upset because her son and dtr-in-law announced they are not going to vaccinate their children for anything.She is a teacher so their plan is to homeschool their kids.
I was wondering how a pediatrician would deal with parents like that.My first instinct would be to tell them to find another Dr.but then I ‘m not sure I could really do that.After all,it’s not the children’s fault their parents are ignorant,dumbarses.
Hopefully,they’ll take their kids to a Dr.for regular kid ailments like strep throat,ear infections,etc.I guess I would get them to sign a statement that they were educated on the benefits of vaccinations and they decline.That way they couldn’t come back and blame the Dr. for not vaccinating their kids if a catastrophe happens.

Can absolutely not allow the kids into their office.
What if the kids get sick from exposure from another patient? What if they expose other patients?
They need to find a pediatrician who does house calls.
With all the idiot anti-vaxxers, that may be a good practice for one so inclined.

Wife, no pics, is private practice pediatrician. They have strict guidelines for patients. If they don’t meet the criteria they aren’t admitted. They put the practice at significant risk if they catch something from a vaccinated kid carrying something.
One of her friends falls into this dumbassery too. We no longer associate with them.

You know they make you sign a waiver before they vaccinate your kids so you can’t hold them liable if something goes wrong.

I have anti vaccination patients. Not surprisingly they’re anti medicine and anti procedure too. So they come to me with a problem and refuse everything I have to offer as a remedy. It’s maddening.

Our pediatrician won't accept kids who aren't vaccinated or don't plan on being vaccinated.

I’m going to look for a pediatrician who refuses anti-vax parents. Newborns and babies can’t be immunized immediately. I don’t want my baby catching something from a dumbass family who chooses not to vaccinate while I’m waiting in the lobby, or whatever. I can’t stand people who willingly choose to put others at risk by not vaccinating.

Anti-vaxxers make me irrationally angry.
Loved the recent Pandemic docuseries on Netflix...wanted to punch the granola antivax mom they featured on there whining about how protecting her children from deadly diseases is such a horrible thing.
And if I was a pediatrician I would absolutely refuse to take patients that were not vaccinated due to parental choice and not because of a legit medical reason.
