Both are good at times. If I had to pick one....

boiled in crab boil.

So when people say you can toss anything in a crawfish pot and it will come out great (and they do) do they mean anything but raw peanuts?

The boiled peanuts from the can and the ones from the gas stations that's been sitting out for days in that juice are pretty bad. I hope some of you aren't basing your experience for boiled on tasting those.

Fresh green peanuts cooked the right way are miles better.

Boiled is best if done right. I like them slightly under boiled, not too mushy. Best I’ve had was from some guy along the highway somewhere between Tallahassee and Moultrie, Ga.
